Why Jesus?

 

 

      Since the penalty for sin is eternal separation from God, the people of the world need Jesus to save them.  

 

"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel . . .that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4

 
 

"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

 

"For by grace are you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

 

Dear Lord,

I've sinned against You and deserve condemnation.

I believe that Jesus died for my sins and offers me His forgiveness. 

I accept the gift of eternal life by faith.

 I know I don't deserve it and cannot earn it.

Thank you, dear Lord, for this eternal gift.
